Apprenticeship in Kiel

Warehouse clerk

Specialists for warehouse logistics are working in companies from virtually every sector insofar as the company has a storage facility. They’re responsible for the handling and correct storage of stock, and are involved in logistical planning and organization processes. The basic theory is taught at the RBZ vocational center in Kiel over either one or two school days a week depending on which year of training you’re doing.

Industrial clerk

Industrial clerical workers in production facilities from all industries are responsible for cost estimates, drafting quotations, procuring materials and selling the company’s products. At companies like Vossloh Locomotives, industrial clerks maintain business relationships with customers and suppliers at the national and international levels. Their work involves planning workflows, allocating personnel and issuing and checking delivery notes, invoices, freight documents and customs documentation. The job also includes advertising and marketing activities as well as accounting and human resources management. The basic theory is taught at the RBZ vocational center in Kiel in full-time study terms.

Vehicle spray painter

Vehicle spray painters work predominantly in vehicle manufacturing or in factory paint shops in mechanical and plant engineering operations, which include the production of rail vehicles. These specialists coat and detail vehicles, superstructural parts and special fittings using paint, lettering, symbols, design paint jobs and effect finishes. They protect surfaces using the proper preservation techniques and carry out repair work. Mechatronics technician

Mechatronics technicians work in assembly and manufacturing shops. Besides mechanical engineering companies, they also work in the vehicle and aviation industries. Apprentices learn comprehensive skills in the areas of mechanics and electrical engineering. The basic theory is taught at the Walther Lehmkuhl School in Neumünster over one or two school days per week depending on which year of training you’re doing.

Sheet metal construction mechanic

Construction mechanics work primarily in metal construction, machine construction or vehicle manufacturing companies but also in the building industry. Manual and mechanical methods are employed to manufacture and assemble component parts out of metal sheeting, tubes or profiles. The basic theory is taught at the RBZ vocational center in Kiel in full-time study terms.

Electronics technician for automation technology

Electronics technicians for automation technology build, modify and expand complex automated systems. The basic theory is taught at the Robert Bosch Vocational School in Duisburg over either one or two school days depending on which year of training you’re doing.

Industrial mechanics specialize in manufacturing, setting up and modifying component parts and subassemblies for machines and production installations.
